Radon mitigation contractors: partner with Radon Mitigation Costs
Radon Mitigation Costs helps homeowners who have a high radon test understand mitigation, then connects them with one mitigation contractor per county. Learn how requests are created, how county territories work and how to apply.
Contractors we want to work with
We are looking for radon mitigation contractors who install sub-slab depressurization systems, crawl space membranes with active suction, sump-pit sealing and fan systems, and who perform post-mitigation testing. Companies that hold the radon credentials their state recognizes are the strongest fit.
Radon Mitigation Costs is not a mitigation company. It is a homeowner resource published by Cornelia Cove LLC. We explain what a high result means, how mitigation works on different foundations and what affects the cost, so the homeowner is ready to make a decision when you call.
How homeowners reach us
Owners usually arrive after a short-term test came back high, after a home inspection during a sale, or after reading a state radon program notice. They read our cost guide and state pages, compare system types, and use the estimator, which prices a system by foundation type and lets them add items such as a second suction point, crawl space membrane, sump cover or follow-up test.
When they want a contractor, they fill in the request form with their name, ZIP code, email, optional phone and project notes. The estimate range they built is attached. We do not generate requests any other way.
A large share of these owners have never heard of a suction point or a manometer before the week they got their result. By the time they write in, they have read how the system works and what a good install looks like, so the conversation with you can focus on their house rather than on radon basics.
Contents of a forwarded request
Each request is reviewed by a person before it is sent to you. You receive the owner's contact details, ZIP code, notes about the house (foundation type, test result if they share it, whether a sale is pending) and the estimate items they selected. Real estate deadlines mentioned in the notes are highlighted so you can schedule accordingly.
We tell owners that an independent local contractor may contact them. We do not claim you are part of our business and we never quote prices on your behalf.
One contractor per county, first come
Territories are counties. A county is held by one contractor, and radon requests from ZIP codes in it go to that contractor alone. We do not resell or share them. Radon potential and state program rules vary by area, and county lines make the boundary clear to everyone.
Counties are assigned to the first qualified contractor that completes onboarding. If the county you want is held, you can join its waiting list or ask about an open county next door. We only assign as many counties as you can serve within a reasonable time, because many of these owners are working against a closing date.
Partner standards
Hold the radon mitigation certification or license your state requires and liability insurance, and be ready to share proof. Provide written quotes that list the fan, piping, sealing, electrical and post-mitigation test, and follow the installation standard your state program references. Reply to new requests promptly and report any invalid or out-of-area requests.
Always recommend a follow-up test after installation. Our pages tell homeowners to expect one, and a contractor who includes it in the scope matches what they have read.
Questions mitigation contractors ask
Do the owners already have a test result? Most do, either from a home inspection or a short-term kit, and many mention the number in their notes. Others want help arranging a test, which you can offer. Do you send new-construction or commercial requests? The site is written for existing single-family homes, so those are uncommon. What about homes with crawl spaces, slab-on-grade and basements in the same structure? Owners can pick more than one foundation item in the estimator, and the notes usually describe the layout, so you can plan a visit before quoting.
Apply
Submit the request form on this page. Use the project details box for your company name, the counties you want, your certification and license numbers, and your insurance carrier. We respond by email; there is no phone line for applications.
Every arrangement is agreed individually before a request is sent. We do not publish prices for partners and we do not promise a set number of requests, since demand depends on each county and on the season.
